Beauty | Best Beauty Buys of 2015

As 2015 comes to an end, I'm rounding up my best beauty buys of the year. There has been SO many but today I'm whittling it down to my final few. I don't have a huge collection of beauty bits, I'm just your average girl who's stash is growing through blogger-induced purchases...

Them rose gold brushes, you see them on blogs constantly, you might even have some propped up on your dressing table. We all know what they are, the Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury Brush Set are a product worth their hype. It was really the Rose Golden Complete Eye Set that changed my eyeshadow game. With an array of fluffy and precise brushes, blending out your shadow has never been more effortless. The '228 Luxe Crease' brush is firmly my favourite, combined with the MAC '217' brush, they're a force to be reckoned with. If your New Years resolution is to work on your blending skills, you'll be needing these.

With eyeshadow in mind, my most reached for palette this year has to be the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette. If there was ever a situation where I can only have six eyeshadow hues (which really, I don't want to think about), I'd be picking these. There's a look to be created for every occasion, it can take you from day to night and travel the world with you.

My ultimate contour kit has taking a knock since September's Glossybox introduced me to brand B. Cosmetics. I reach for the B. Sculpted Contour Kit almost every day, it's a game-changer in my make-up wardrobe. A matte deep brown makes the contour colour, it's highly pigmented and only needs a light hand in creating chiselled cheekbones. My favourite side of the sculpting duo is the wet-look highlighting creme. Tiny particles of glitter run through the creme which leaves the most flattering finish to any look. I totally 'get' the whole highlighter swooning now. Prepare for further swooning as we bring the new year in.

If you follow my Twitter or Instagram (which you totally should) you'll likely know of my love for The Body Shop has grown enormously. Without a shadow of a doubt, the Spa of The World African Ximenia Body Scrub has been the belle of my ball. As a self-confessed false tanning addict, my bath and body regime is almost military. This gentle exfoliator, produced from the naturally rich oil of fruit seeds grown in Namibia, Africa, is a luxury for your skin. From the first time I used it, to now, months later, it still delivers soft, silky and rejuvenated skin, every damn time. With a huge 350ml to get through, it's a pricey purchase but I won't hesitate to re-buy.

In the market for healthy hair? Who isn't, really? Jocio K-Pak have revolutionised my hair care routine. Their innovative formula bottles the most powerful and targeted hair repair technology. All the science-y shizz is in my review, which is well worth the read if your hair is in deep need or restoration. I ditched my black barnet earlier this year and my hair was duly damaged in the lightening process but without the Conditioner, Deep Penetrating Reconstructor and the Intense Hydrator it wouldn't be half way to healthy and swishy. The fabulous trio go beyond the parameters of highstreet hair care and bring the battle to bleach.
